Northumberland Childcare Surveys
Northumberland County Council is carrying out its annual audit of registered childcare providers and parents across the county in order that:

• The Families Information Service can provide accurate and up to date information on your behalf about your childcare provision to enquirers;
• Gain a detailed understanding of the overall childcare market in Northumberland which supports strategic funding decisions;
• Enable parents and childcare providers to have an opportunity to give their views about childcare in the County.

This audit fits within the County Council’s statutory obligations requiring a meaningful assessment of the demand and supply of childcare provision, taking into account the views of childcare providers and parents.
