QEHS staff visit Tashi Lhunpo
QEHS has a special link with the Tibetan Buddhist monastery school of Tashi Lhunpo near Bangalore in India.

The latest exchange visit in October 2007 saw the principal of the school, known as Kachen La, visiting the Hexham Partnership to learn about teaching and learning and leadership.

Kachen returns to India with QEHS science staff, John Hartshorne and Andy Brooks, who are to visit the monastery school from 12–22 November to explore the theme of sustainability with a view to developing a student link in the near future.
