Excellence in Information Award
QEHS is one of only three Northumberland high schools to have achieved the new Connexions Excellence in Information Award.

To obtain the Award, QEHS Librarian Sarah Smith and Connexions Personal Adviser Kathleen Brown had to match certain criteria. These included an audit of resources, obtaining user feedback, compiling displays and attending training sessions. The Award was presented to Sarah and Kathleen by Austin McNamara, Connexions Northumberland Chief Executive, at the CEG Conference in June 2007.
