There are four units at GCSE level:
B451 and B452 complete in Year One
B453 and B454 complete in Year Two

  • B451 – Introduction to PE (exam – 20%)
  • B452 – Practical Performance (two sports – 20%) and Analysing Lifestyle (Controlled Assessment – 10%)
  • B453 – Developing Knowledge in PE (exam – 20%)
  • B454 – Practical Performance (two sports – 20%) and Analysing Performance (Controlled Assessment – 10%)
