GCSE Engineering – Year 11

In year 11 students will build on their skills and understanding gained in year 10. They will work on the 3 GCSE units:
Unit 1 Controlled Assessment – Engineering Design and Graphical Communication (bike alarm design)
Unit 2 Controlled Assessment – Engineered Products (making an alarmed toolbox)
Unit 3 External Examination – Application of Technology in Engineering and Manufacturing. This exam comprises two sections Section A - general subject knowledge, Section B – specific knowledge about a given fabricated product. Students will be provided with pre-release information in January.
