AS Biology (AQA 1411)
Two taught units make up AS Biology. Unit 1 – Biology and Disease (33.3%), and Unit 2 – The Variety of Living Organisms (46.7%). Both units are examined in May/June of Year 12.
Coursework is worth 20% and is an externally marked practical assessment (EMPA) completed in April of Year 12.
