AS Further Mathematics (OCR –3892 )

There are three modules to AS Further Mathematics, Further Pure 1, Decision 1 and Statistics 2. Decision 1 is assessed by examination in January of Year 12, and Further Pure 1 and Statistics 2 are assessed by examinations in May/June of Year 12. Each module carries equal weighting to the overall grade at AS level, and contribute to a total of 50% of the full A level. Generally the course is taught by two teachers, one teaching Decision 1 and Statistics 2, and the other teaching Further Pure 1.
