Details of our Community and Leisure Courses for Spring 2020 are available below.

Beginners: Steps One/Two (Tuesdays, 8.30 – 9.30pm)

For beginners: an introduction to the basic steps of ballroom and Latin American dancing. Learn the basics in the Waltz, Quick-Step, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Jive, and gain confidence on the dance floor. No partner needed.

 

Step Three (Tuesdays, 6.30 – 7.30pm)

For those who have completed at least three terms of dancing. Gain confidence, expand routines and learn additional dances.

 

Step Four (Tuesdays, 5.30 – 6.30pm)

For those who have completed at least four terms of dancing.

 

Step Five (Tuesdays, 4.30 – 5.30pm)

For those who have completed at least five terms of dancing. Practice, develop and expand all dances.

 

Step Six (Tuesdays, 7.30 – 8.30pm)

For those who have completed six terms of dancing. Continue to increase, develop and enjoy all dances.

Focusing on posture, stretches and relaxation techniques for all levels. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and comfortable clothing.

This self-programming community group will make shepherd’s crooks and walking sticks in traditional Northumbrian style.
