This course seeks to help you make sense of the decisions and choices we take as individuals, groups and society as a whole. Economics is about people, not money! Economics explains history, politics, people and even our own behaviour. It can even offer solutions to some of our most intractable problems.
Our course is split into 4 themes:
Theme 1 - An introduction to Markets and Market Failure
Theme 2 - The UK Economy
Theme 3 - Business Behaviour
Theme 4 - A Global Perspective
We are assessed by 3 two hour exams, with a mix of essay and data-response questions.
