Year 9 Football

The Year 9s played their first football game for QE on Monday and came away victorious with a 4-0 win over Haydon Bridge.

We played some nice football from the start, considering it was the first time we had played together but couldn’t break the deadlock in the first half, despite creating some good chances. However, in the second half we scored early through Harry P from a corner and that led to further goals from Jason C, Teddy M (clearly relieved to find the back of the net!) and Blake J who picked out the bottom corner beautifully but his celebration didn’t match the goal!

A great start to the new campaign, well done lads.
