Following a successful qualification at the event at Ovingham before Christmas, we took 41 students from QEHS and HMS to represent the Tynedale area at the County Cross Country event at Temple Park on Tuesday. A cold and frosty final day on the slopes for our groups on Friday. All students were assessed and have progressed in their skiing, whilst hopefully having some fun along the way. We finished the week with a quiz night! One round was fun facts about staff, can you guess whose father was a spitfire pilot? #Respect #Engage #Aspire

Yet another brilliant day today with all groups skiing across to France to enjoy some different slopes. Some groups had a chilly lunch at the top of the mountain whilst Mr Whitfield’s group took advantage of a French mountain restaurant! During the afternoon some students enjoyed a gentle walk back across the border, taking in some beautiful scenery! Respect. Engage.
