Alistair’s Tube Challenge

During the summer holidays, four of our Year 13 students undertook the Tube Challenge to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service. The Challenge involves visiting all of London’s 270 London Underground stations in one day, and our students managed this epic undertaking in 17 hours, 44 minutes and 18 seconds! QEHS A Level Results

Year 13 students and staff at Queen Elizabeth High School in Hexham are celebrating another set of excellent A Level results. u15 Girls Cricket Champions

We are delighted that our Under 15 Girls Cricket Team won the North of England Outdoor Cricket Competition. They beat off competition from Yorkshire and Durham and comfortably won the tournament, winning all 5 games! They have been awesome all year and deserve huge congratulations for their success. Go Global Day 2019

Today has seen our Year 11 students embracing cultures from around the world through dance and drama, exploring important global issues such as conservation and trying out new skills such as guerrilla knitting, African drumming and mindfulness. Whilst most of the sessions have been created and delivered by QEHS the day has also been supported by local organisations West End
