Before half term, QE’s Year 10 boys football team continued their unbeaten start to the season with a hard-fought 2-2 draw away to a strong KEVI (Morpeth) side.
In a competitive and closely contested match, both teams created chances, and the draw was probably a fair reflection of the game. The QE players worked incredibly hard throughout, showing great determination, teamwork and resilience against quality opposition.
Benson H continued his excellent form in front of goal, scoring both goals for QE and taking his tally for the season to an impressive four goals in two matches.
A fantastic effort from all involved, with the squad once again demonstrating a positive attitude and excellent commitment. The team will look to build on this strong start as the season continues. ⚽👏
