As we come to the Christmas break, I just wanted to update you on the success of our girl’s netball teams so far in the league. In the season so far, the year 10 team have made a very good start playing some very competitive games. The year 9 team are currently unbeaten in the league and will represent the school in the regional tournament at the end of January after winning the county tournament without losing a single game. An excellent start to the season with a very committed group of girls.
We also hosted Ryan’s College all the way from Australia. We played them at netball and football in some very competitive games. The football boys came out on top with a 3-0 win and the netball teams did us proud against some very strong Australian netballers. Some of our year 9 girls were playing against very strong, older opposition which was a great experience/learning curve. They held their own throughout and gave it their all.
