On Monday we spent our last day with our partner school, Eileen Ngochoch Primary School.
We finished off tiling the preschool classroom and spent lots of time with the learners, singing, drawing and getting to know them.
In the afternoon, the school put on a celebration assembly where we saw Grade 5 and 7 students’ song and dance routine (and the teachers were dragged up to join in!!!!) and the acrobatics group performance. We presented our donations to the school, many thanks to everyone who helped to contribute to this!! We were then gifted some local handicrafts from the school.
We all were overcome with emotion by the generosity and kindness of our new friends and we can’t wait to see them all next year!!
