Our Y10’s were excellent on Tuesday V’s RGS and have secured themselves a place in the final at Jesmond CC on Tues 24th June, opponents to be confirmed.
RGS batted first and after 5 overs were 50 for no wickets, looking for a big total. After a wicket from Dan C (Y9) we took back control and managed to restrict them to 101 all out.
Stand out bowlers being:
Sam B – 4 overs, 3 wickets for 5 runs!
Morty C – 3 overs, 2 wickets for 11 runs.
Dan C – 4 overs, 2 wickets for 19 runs.
JJ W – 2 overs, 2 wickets for 17 runs.
We batted second and chased the total off in 10 overs, only losing one wicket.
Will C – 45 not out
Dan C – 34 not out.
An excellent performance all round and a very convincing win.
