Year 12 had a number of new and exciting sessions to choose from again yesterday. Shay Lowery, a former student, entertained and inspired in equal measure –a large contingent may decide they are off to summer camp in America or Canada after Year 13! Amy brought to life, using examples from her work and PhD, what social psychology is and its applications for understanding group behaviour, particularly in relation to culture and cyber psychology. A number of our students choose to go to Lancaster University each year and so we were delighted to welcome Isabelle French to talk to the students about the range of economics degrees they offer and the opportunities this opens up for their undergraduates. Steven Underwood, Founder & Managing Director at Bonded Agency delivered an engaging presentation on his personal journey, sharing the challenges of building his own business and offering valuable insight into how he developed an award-winning company. He explained how Bonded helps to grow brands by combining digital marketing, media strategy, and creative content.
