We are delighted that the long-standing head coaches of the QEHS Rowing Club, Pauline and Geoff Higgins, have won the British Rowing Northern Volunteer of the Year Award. Last week our German Exchange group welcomed their exchange partners from Germany to Hexham for a week. The German students had a packed week full of activities, including visits to Newcastle, Durham, the Beamish Museum, a day taking part in lessons at QEHS, and a joint trip with their QEHS partners to Edinburgh.
