Regional Indoor Rowing Competition

15 QEHS and Hexham RC rowers attended a regional indoor rowing competition last week, representing QEHS against multiple schools from all around the north-east. Football Update

Y10 were excellent on Thursday vs Ponteland. They were 4-0 up after the first half with goals from Jack T (2), Ollie G and Jimmy C. Ponteland came back in the second half but another goal by Ben P cemented a comfortable 5-3 win against a team that made it to the quarter finals in the National Cup. #Respect #Engage

Cross Country

Seven QEHS students made the journey to Ardingly in Sussex at the weekend having qualified for the English Schools’ Cross County Final. This was an amazing achievement to reach the final, and the students ran in fields of up to 340 runners. Well done to Billy B, Adam B, Arthur Di, Arthur D, Magnus R, Joe E and Tabitha R.
