Well Done!

Staff at Queen Elizabeth High School, Hexham, are delighted with the results achieved by students in their examinations this year. The school presented over 300 students for a wide range of qualifications. The majority of students have achieved the results required to continue to sixth form. Others have successfully gained entry to colleges and apprenticeships due to their results. 85%

Biology Competition

29 of our new year 12 students took part in the recent Intermediate Biology Olympiad. 3 students were commended, 5 highly commended, and an amazing 7 achieved silver- putting them in the top 15% of entrants in this National competition! Our silver award winners were: Matthew G, Elodie H, Robbie J, Jonah B, Ella-Mae P, Joshua W, and Hannah S.
