Bronze DofE Trek Update
Well done to our Bronze 2024/5 Duke of Edinburgh group for showing fantastic teamwork and resilience hiking for two days in very warm weather along Hadrian’s Wall. Each team had an expedition goal and we look forward to students sharing the results of this in their presentations in a few weeks. Respect. Engage. Aspire.

History Revision
Today Mrs Hodgson led a history revision session for over 60 year 11 students. The session helped prepare the students for their forthcoming exam with targeted revision on key aspects of the curriculum and exam skills. Good luck to all our Year 11s! Respect. Engage. Aspire.

Results from fixtures this week: Y9’s v’s Dame Allans – Lost despite a great knock from Dan Cole who ended up on 90 not out. Hydroholics
Well done to Hydroholics, QEHS’ student-led folk band, who recently performed at the Rotary Club’s President’s Night. The Rotary motto is ‘service above self’ and Hydroholics did just that, performing for others in a friendly atmosphere, fitting exactly with Rotary ideals.The Rotary Club were most impressed, so thank you for the music, Ruth, Storm, Alys, William and Anna!
