Psychology Trip

On Thursday a group of our psychology students enjoyed an interesting day at Northumbria university. They listened to some fascinating lectures on Clinical psychology, exploring types of Anxiety Disorders and the current research being conducted at Northumbria. They were then introduced to Forensic psychology with Dr. Faye Horsley considering her research on arson. They also took part in some qualitative

QEHS Art Exhibition – Sixth Form Students

We would like to invite you into school to see an art exhibition celebrating the work of this year’s sixth form students. The QE PTFA will be supplying a variety of refreshments on the evening. Student Success

At the weekend students from both QEHS and HMS took part in an Inter-Regional Triathlon, the team was very successful, coming 3rd out of all the regions across England, Scotland and Wales. Over the course of the weekend most athletes raced in 3 triathlons and an additional transition race. The team regularly train with One life Triathlon Club. The students

Student Success

Teddy and Will F have been selected to join the Newcastle Red Bulls academy, Foundation stage. They had to go through a rigorous selection process, that whittled down players to just 30 across Northumberland and North Durham. This is a wonderful achievement! Can you crochet or knit?

Can you crochet or knit, or do you know someone who can? The Sixth Form Team are hoping to create a display of poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day and needs help creating poppies. Music Extra-Curricular

Welcome back to our fantastic offering of Music extra-curricular activities.  Please take a look at the attached flyer to find out more about what each group is and where and when they take place.  The start date is on the flyer.  This weeks sees the return of String Group, Flute Ensemble, Hydroholics, Youth Theatre,  Soul Band, Wind Band and Orchestra.
