Transition Tynedale – Student Volunteers

Last Saturday, some of our students volunteered with Transition Tynedale. Rupert C, Josiah I, and Sam B. (not pictured) helped run activities and assisted the Fix-It Team with bicycle repairs. Hexham MP Joe Morris attended the event and spent time chatting with our students. We are very proud of their community spirit and the way they demonstrated our school values.

Rowing News – National Schools Report

QEHS rowers attended the National Schools Regatta which this year was held at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. This regatta is the biggest junior regatta in the country, attracting the best junior crews from all across the UK. Student Success!

Some of our students competed at the Wentworth leisure centre on the 14th June at the county round of the English Schools Track & Field Championships. From that round Billy (Junior boys 1500m), Arthur (Intermediate boys 1500m) and Magnus (Intermediate boys 800m) went through to represent Northumberland at the Inter-Counties round competing against Cleveland, Cumbria, Durham and North Yorkshire. Rowing Club Fundraiser

Our rowing club is undertaking a fundraising event on Tyne Green this Saturday between 9am and 1pm.
