Students had a great day in Iceland yesterday. In the morning, they visited an oceanside geothermal lagoon followed by a walk through an ancient lava tunnel to see the inner workings of a lava tube. The year 13 geographers have enjoyed their first day in Iceland. They visited the bridge between two continents and Gunnuhver hot springs and mud pools. We finished the day with a meal at the Hard Rock Cafe before walking back along the harbourside. The Northern Lights made an appearance and accompanied us back to the hotel. Respect. Engage. Aspire.

QEHS Rowing are in a busy run of head races. This week’s race was held at Tees Rowing Club in Stockton.
