Roller Derby Success Siblings Luke, Cory and Rowan from HMS & QEHS recently took part in the bronze medal play off at Five Nations Roller Derby in Stoke on Trent with their team Newcastle Junior Roller Derby. At the weekend students from both QEHS and HMS took part in an Inter-Regional Triathlon, the team was very successful, coming 3rd out of all the regions across England, Scotland and Wales. Over the course of the weekend most athletes raced in 3 triathlons and an additional transition race. The team regularly train with One life Triathlon Club. The students
Teddy and Will F have been selected to join the Newcastle Red Bulls academy, Foundation stage. They had to go through a rigorous selection process, that whittled down players to just 30 across Northumberland and North Durham. This is a wonderful achievement!
