QEHS Youth Theatre provides opportunities for young people to participate in a prestigious theatre production, giving them the stage to perform their work. This annual event attracts a wide audience of around 700 people from across Hexham and the surrounding area. The Human Rights Group are collecting to provide destitute refugees at the West End Refugee Service (WERS) with warm clothing as the weather turns colder. Yesterday QEHS alumni Katie Banecki came into school to talk to a group of our Sixth Form students. Katie has just graduated in Biomedical Sciences from Oxford. She was one of only a few students from the North of England in her cohort and offered to support Year 13 students applying to Oxbridge, as well as students applying for Biosciences
