Progression Resources: Choosing a course/university

I know I want to go to university, but I don’t know what course I want to do

Click on each Step to be taken to the relevant resources

  • Step 1: Watch the 'Applying to university – the UCAS and school process' talk
  • Step 2: Watch the 'Deciding on a subject to study' talk
  • Step 3: Watch the 'Comparing courses and universities' talk
  • Step 4: We would advise that you watch the 'Writing a personal statement talk'
  • Step 5: Use the relevant section in the Progression Research Pack
  • Step 6: When you know what subject you would like to apply for, email Joanne (curriculum@qehs.net) so that we can allocate you a teacher to support your application
  • Step 7: Progress to the next stage - I know what course I want to study at university (you will start at Step 4)

There will also be Curriculum Office drop-in sessions on Zoom for any queries you might have. The links for each session are below:

  • Monday 6 July at 10am

  • Monday 6 July at 2.30pm

  • Tuesday 7 July at 10am

  • Tuesday 7 July at 2.30pm
