Former QEHS Rowers in Oxford v Cambridge Race

More great news from QEHS Rowing; two ex-QEHS rowers have been selected for the 2020 Oxford v Cambridge Lightweight Boat Race Crews. Nick Ryan, studying Mathematics at University College, Oxford, has been selected for a second year after being in the winning crew last year (third from left in the below photo). He was national J18 single sculls champion in 2018 and then went on to get a gold medal representing GB in the European University Games in 2019.

This year Nick is joined by Sarah Robinson (second from right in the below photo) who had a very successful rowing career at Oxford whilst studying for her Masters in Biochemistry, gaining a gold medal representing GB in the 2014 European University Games and was reserve for the Boat Race in 2014. Sarah has returned to Oxford University Wadham College to complete a Doctor of Philosophy in Systems Approaches to Biomedical Sciences and this year has gained selection for the Oxford Lightweight Women’s crew.

Both Nick and Sarah will be in action for Oxford on Sunday 15 March 2020 on the famous Championship Thames Tideway course, which is 4 miles and 374 yards long.
