Movember: QEHS MOS

Happy Movember to you all.

Yes, I know November has crept us on us all, but it is here! As you know, November means Movember! We have four members of staff this year raising awareness of men’s health by growing a mo. They are Mr Hanson, Mr Cornish, Mr Brook and Mr Manns.

There’s no better way to kick start our fundraising then to share the evidence of us baring all through Lock Down. Shave Down. Get Down. On average men die 6 years earlier than women and for reasons that are largely preventable. It’s a global problem, which is why we are taking on a challenge to raise funds for Movember and stop men dying too young. We want to do our bit. The money we raise will help fund ground breaking projects across mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. QE has a great record in supporting charitable causes and we would really like you, if you can, to help us raise money for this cause this cause.

Movember has funded 1,250 game-changing health projects so far, but there are millions more fathers, partners, brothers and sons and friends to reach. That’s where we come in, and that’s where you come in. We’ve set a bold and ambitious fundraising target of £1,000; a target QE just managed to exceed last year. Your donation, big or small, will help us to get there.

Donating is easy – just follow the link to our Mo Space below. You’ll also be able to track our progress.

So, can we count on your support? Together, we can change the face of men’s health.
