Congratulations to Mr Atkins who regained the title of QEHS Comic Relief Nose & Spoon Race Champion, beating James M from year 9 in an entertaining final. James progressed to the final by beating Philip B from year 10 in the student semi-final that saw the lead change hands several times as the boys went round the course – a lap of the central courtyard in front of a great crowd of their peers – with the wind playing havoc with the red noses. The wind caused similar problems for Mr Seaton in the staff semi-final enabling Mr Atkins to go on to overall victory.
