The Y10s have progressed to the final of the Knight Stokes Cup after beating Kings at Tynemouth CC on Tuesday.
Kings batted first and were all out for 83 from 15 overs. It was a great performance with the ball and in the field, starting the game with a diamond duck, a wicket from the first ball.
Callum took 3 wickets for 2 runs off 2 overs.
Rowan took 2 wickets for 5 runs off 3 overs.
Other wickets came from Josh, Billy, Lucas and Patrick.
In reply, we knocked off the runs in 8 overs.
Dan scored 36 not out.
Lucas scored 32.
We will play Whitley Bay in the regional final on Monday 22 June at Tynemouth CC. If we win, we will progress to the knockout phase of the national cup and will also qualify for the county cup final on Tuesday 23 June. It will be a very busy schedule with all the rain.
