Last week, three Silver Duke of Edinburgh teams enjoyed a successful practice expedition to the Yorkshire Dales. The students camped and walked for two days and nights, beginning in Appletreewick and finishing in Malham Tarn, Thoralby or Semer Water. On Monday we spent our last day with our partner school, Eileen Ngochoch Primary School. We finished off tiling the preschool classroom and spent lots of time with the learners, singing, drawing and getting to know them. Bridge Building As part of our STEM sessions, students were challenged to build a bridge to span a 42cm gap using only straws, paper, and sellotape.
