DofE Silver

Last week, three Silver Duke of Edinburgh teams enjoyed a successful practice expedition to the Yorkshire Dales. The students camped and walked for two days and nights, beginning in Appletreewick and finishing in Malham Tarn, Thoralby or Semer Water. Tuesday was our final day in Kenya Before heading to the airport, we went back to the Great Rift Valley view point, better weather meant even more amazing views this time round. REA Week – STEM

Bridge Building As part of our STEM sessions, students were challenged to build a bridge to span a 42cm gap using only straws, paper, and sellotape. They had a budget to work with, and the bridges were then load tested.
