Our Year 9 students have safely arrived at Newby Wiske Hall. Thankfully, the rain has held off and everyone is already enjoying their first activities. Respect. Engage. Aspire.

Y9 & Y10 Cricket

Both Y9 and Y10 got off to winning starts for the cricket season with the Y9’s beating Bede and the Y10’s Dame Allans. The Y9’s batted first and put on 90 for 6 wickets. S.Ainsley – 23 not out B.Gradwell – 18 not out We then bowled out Bede for 39 M.Hunter – 3 wickets for 3 runs off 2

Tees Regatta

QEHS rowers are in peak race season. This weekend saw them move from the Wear to the Tees to compete. Captain Millie sent the following report: On Saturday, QEHS rowing club returned to Tees regatta after a 2 year break. Tees Regatta is slightly different to other events because it consists of laned racing and every race is a straight

Congratulations

Congratulations to our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh students who all passed their award on Friday. They tackled some very difficult weather and challenging terrain with a smile and behaved impeccably. We are very proud of them all and look forward to their presentations!  Respect. Engage. Aspire.
