QEHS Rowing Club travelled to the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham, last weekend to take part in the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta. This event involves crews being selected to represent their region to then race crews from all over the UK. This year, QEHS had 19 rowers selected to race. Well done to our Bronze and Silver D of E teams for their excellent conduct during our first practice walk. They practiced map reading, demonstrated excellent proficiency in the countryside code and showed resilience in a tough 10k walk up some steep inclines.
