Manchester – Football Trip

On Tuesday afternoon a group of Year 9 students travelled to Manchester. First stop was a visit to the National Football Museum, with four galleries to explore, interactive games and an opportunity for photos with the Premier League and Women’s Super League trophies.We then headed to the Etihad Stadium to experience Manchester City v RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

Yr 12 Fine Art

The Year 12 Fine artists are creating sustained observational skull drawings from life. They have really enjoyed the challenge and have produced some fantastic work! They are now experimenting with innovative techniques to develop the initial studies further.

Mathematics Olympiad

Congratulations to the sixth form students who achieved outstanding results in the Girls’ Maths Olympiad. Lara B and Imogen W (Y12) achieved a merit and a distinction, respectively. Alice Di (Y13) also achieved a distinction and Anna-Maria K a merit. This is an incredible achievement with the students completing a 2.5 hour long, challenging assessment and only the highest 25%

Basketball Success!

Y11 boys recently represented the school basketball team at a competition at St Cuthbert’s. They were excellent in conduct, attitude, and game play with everyone contributing in some way to a successful team performance.
