We hope you will join us for the HMS Christmas Carol Concert at Hexham Abbey on 15th December, 7pm. The concert will be a festive service including musical interludes from our choirs, orchestra, string ensemble and soloists. Tomorrow is Sixth Form Results Day. Results will be released at 8am on Thursday 14th August via email to your school email address. If you would like to come to collect your results in person, they will be available from the Winter Gardens between 8 am and 10 am. Good Luck!

Last weekend, QEHS rowers attended Durham Head, the last of the Long Distance Sculling races of the autumn season. It was a day of very close races, with Seth achieving the only QEHS win of the day in the j18 singles. However, there were a lot of close 2nd places and lots of impressive racing across the board. QEHS Rowing are in a busy run of head races. This week’s race was held at Tees Rowing Club in Stockton. This is a brilliant venue for the spectator with easy access to the river and a modern boathouse to watch the racing from. An early start from Hexham saw 12 QEHS boats racing at this event. Congratulations to all our students on their successes in GCSEs or Level 2 VTQs. The students have done exceptionally well, and all of the staff are proud of what they have achieved.
