Rowan and Amelie are continuing to have sporting success as part of Newcastle Junior Roller Derby. On Sunday 26 March they played against Glasgow Junior Roller Derby with a resounding win of 344 to 116, continuing the unbeaten run for the team this season. Earlier this term they also travelled to Stamford to play Stamford and Peterborough Junior Roller Derby

Hexham Poetry Competition

Do you have a budding poet at home? Entries are now open for the annual Hexham Poetry Competition. The competition is held in honour of the Hexham-born feminist poet, Elizabeth Gibson Cheyne. German Exchange

Our German students are currently enjoying the first leg of this year’s German Exchange with our partner school in Steinhagen.
