Yesterday we said goodbye to our wonderful year 13 with a celebration assembly delivered by Mr Brown, and breakfast in the Winter Gardens. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication they have put in during the last two years in sixth form. They have been an absolute pleasure to have in school. Year 13, you are all amazing.

Last week, three Silver Duke of Edinburgh teams enjoyed a successful practice expedition to the Yorkshire Dales. The students camped and walked for two days and nights, beginning in Appletreewick and finishing in Malham Tarn, Thoralby or Semer Water. The enrichment programme was centred on the personal development of the students and designed to enable students to access the wider curriculum. The programme focussed on careers, life skills, enterprise, forensic science, performing arts, fashion, mock trial and a range of different activities.
