D of E Bronze & Silver Teams

Well done to our Bronze and Silver D of E teams for their excellent conduct during our first practice walk. They practiced map reading, demonstrated excellent proficiency in the countryside code and showed resilience in a tough 10k walk up some steep inclines. This week we are taking the Silver teams out for a navigation and team building exercise.  #Respect

Green Careers Event

It was great to see our students engaged in meaningful conversations with employers, employees and places of further and higher education at the QEHS Green Careers and Information Fair. DofE Bronze Club Preparations

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Bronze club was out yesterday afternoon to practise their campcraft skills. The teams enjoyed learning how to use a Trangia and put up a tent in strong winds. Next week they will complete an 8-mile practice walk. Respect. Engage. Aspire.
